"I Know There Will Be Better Days"2017, EPThis EP was written and recorded during a politically contentious and dangerous time in American history. Lead vocals on the title track were shared between myself and Chicago singers/songwriters, Tony Calderisi and Andrew Fraker. The inclusion of the song, "Midnight Angel" by Nova Scotia singer/songwriter, Jimmy Rankin" and my song, "This December Nite," rounded out this collection of hopeful songs for a very uncertain time.

"This December Nite"2016, SingleI describe this as "a Christmas song that's also kind of not." This song was inspired by a YouTube video I saw of a soldier coming home to surprise his family. The song tells the story of a solder driving thru the nite to be home in time for Christmas. "This December Nite" was the first new music I recorded since 2009's "Letters From Broken Street." It was nominated for an American Songwriters Award in 2016.

"Easily Bruised"2016, SingleWritten by Toronto, Canada-based singer/songwriter, Matthew Barber, this song has been a favourite of mine since I first heard it in 2009. This is my take on Matt's beautiful song. "Easily Bruised" and "This December Nite" were the first new songs I recorded since 2009's "Letters From Broken Street."

"Beautiful Again" [Remastered]2016, SingleMy second "hit" from my 2009 album, "Letters from Broken Street". I call it a hit because on fearlessradio.com's listener supported weekly countdown show, it reached the #19 position in May 2010. This was my attempt at a break-up song; I was trying to channel Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way." I think I succeeded. "Beautiful Again" was remastered and re-released in 2016 as a lead-up to the release of new music later that year.

"Five Days In May" [Remastered]2016, SingleThis is my take on the Blue Rodeo classic. It appeared on my first CD, "Letters From Broken Street," in 2009 and it's a song I love to this day. But as is often the case for many recording artists, it wasn't until a couple of years after the album was released that I realized this track wasn't quite done. This version was remixed, remastered, and re-released in 2016 as a lead-up to the release of new music later that year. Special guests on this track were Philip Roach (of the Chicago band The Trippin' Billies) on fiddle and singer/songwriter Steven Francque on harmony vocals.
